Name: | Sparrow |

Birthdate: | Jun 23 |
[character name]: Sparrow
[canon]: Bone Dance by Emma Bull
[player]: Sheena
[4th walling]: Sparrow's canon is very obscure so I doubt that will be an issue. As far as Sparrow 4th walling others, Sparrow is a HUGE movie buff, but comes from a post-apocalyptic near future where a lot from the past has been lost, so in general I'll assume Sparrow is unfamiliar with certain movies/TV series/books that other characters are from. However, expect a bunch of references to classic films, especially westerns and anything with Humphrey Bogart.
[PB]: Jaye Davidson.
[Important note:] Sparrow is genderless and goes to great lengths not to draw attention to this fact. In my third-person writing I use ze/hir pronouns--however, Sparrow doesn't use those pronouns and wouldn't have told any other characters to do so. Except for those few characters in canon who know Sparrow very well, men assume ze's male and female assume ze's female and are surprised when contradicted.
Sparrow doesn't really lie about being one or the other, but lets people assume what they please. In person, men thinking Sparrow is male and women thinking Sparrow is female is a more likely response than totally confusion or the other way around--but obviously it depends on your character so anything that makes sense is fine. Over the network, anyone assuming anything is fine.
